Negative body images do more damage than good.
Why? Because negative body images send the signal to our subconscious body that, we are not worth the effort. When we think negative thoughts about our bodies,
we are programming our subconscious mind to be against us instead of with us.
Negative images are more harmful than helpful and scientifically they are much less effective then positive body images. A positive image is seven times more effective to our subconscious body than a negative image. Negative body images are thoughts of our body when we look at ourselves in the mirror and do not like what we see. We look at a fat, ugly person who needs help. When we think like this, it is a negative image because we are being negative about our appearance. To create a positive body image when we are standing in front of a mirror we could see a fat body that is working hard to achieve a great goal and we know that our fat is only on the outside which can and will be changed for the better. Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves we start to feel happy that we are making a difference in our life. We also know that inside us there is a very beautiful person, which everyone would love to meet. Our outer covering has the ability to change shape at our will, all we need to do is work at it. Negative body images are not good if our goal is to lose weight fast. We need to do our best to encourage ourselves whenever we get the chance. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, it is an opportunity to praise our subconscious in its efforts to change our outer body image to
the Ideal body image we have been dreaming about.
We can start by telling our subconscious body. “You are doing a good job” “We are working together to create our ideal body image” “I am proud of you, together we will be successful” When we talk like this to our subconscious body we are continually programming it to help us achieve our weight loss goal. Our subconscious body can be our greatest friend and helper or our worst enemy; it is all up to us. Another cause of negative body thoughts is depression. We all get it sometime in our life and if you are someone who is suffering from depression then you are in luck. There are a lot of anti depression foods out there for us to use to help lift our depression so we can think more positively about ourselves. I remember when I was depressed, I could not think positively about my situation or myself it was awful. But amazingly enough I found out that depression is only the cause of chemicals and hormones within our bodies that are unbalanced or need replenishing.
