A lassi yogurt drink is a great way to help support our immune system and it is an excellent way to fast. A yogurt fast is like a juice fast because it is mostly water, except the yogurt have many helpful enzymes and good bacteria in it to help support our immune system.

Drinking a yogurt drink for a fast is a great way to give extra good bacteria and digestive enzymes to your body for the burning of excess fat and the killing of other bad bacteria, viruses and parasites.

Yogurt is full of healthy beneficial bacteria and digestive enzymes, and a lassi yogurt drink can be made with almost any kind of flavor or spice.

The first time I made my yogurt drink I made it with fresh yogurt, salt, lemon juice, cayenne and chili peppers and black pepper. I wanted to make it hot and full of digestive helpers. Every day I added just a little bit more chili or black pepper to my drink. After seven days of only drinking the lassi yogurt drink, I slowly started to eat fruit, then vegetables and finely I was back to my normal eating.

When I returned to eating normally, all the food I ate tasted ten times better and my digestion worked really well, all my senses were alive and I felt on top of the world.

Fasting with food like yogurt, fruit or juice is the best way to fast because we get to give our bodies help in the cleansing they are doing, by providing them with minerals and vitamins.

Remember if you are making the lassi drink for a fast, do not put any sugar in your drink, sugar weakens the immune system and we need all the strength and power we can give to our immune system and digestive track if we are to lose weight quickly and naturally.

However if the lassi drink is just for any other day, in my opinion it is best to use un-refined or natural sugar or honey as a sweetener. White sugar is the worst type of sugar and our bodies treat it as poison.
