A healthy diet plan is the most important part of dieting

Why? Because if we do not have a healthy diet plan, then when we do a diet our bodies will not use all our nurturance, we need to understand what our bodies need, and that is how a healthy diet plan works.

A healthy diet consists of high quality foods that are full of vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, fibers, oils and fats to name a few. Organic foods are the best, but if organic is not available in your area, healthy diet plan try to get food that is as unprocessed as possible.

The biggest misconception today is that we need to eat low fat, low carbohydrate foods to lose weight. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The low fat idea was originally, meant as a marketing program and slowly grew into what we have today.

When we eat low fat or low carbohydrate foods, our bodies cannot digest everything and thus begin to store the indigestible food for later. When our bodies store the food, instead of burning it up into energy that we can use, we start to gain weight.

When we have a healthy diet plan and are eating organic whole grains, full fat milk, nuts, fruit and barriers, then when our bodies start to process the food, there is little or no amount of food stored because everything is digestible.

Do you know why organic unprocessed food is more digestible than regular food? It is because processed food has all it is good enzymes, proteins and fats taken out of it, so it will last longer on the shelf.

Unprocessed organic foods are full of mineral, vitamins, proteins and good fats, which help with our digestion process. Without these minerals, vitamins and fats the food we eat would be very hard to digest and would likely be stored away for future as unwanted fat.

So having a healthy diet plan is very important if we want to lose weight effectively. A great way to start is to slowly, include more and more organic or unprocessed foods into our daily diet. We could start by adding some fruits every day, then whole grains like whole grain bread, then whole milk, if you like milk like I do.

Fat is very good for our bodies, if we did not eat any fat, we would die. Full fat is the best because it has so many wonderful proteins and vitamins in it. When fat is processed then it becomes bad, when you see low fat on store bought products, this means the fat has been messed, with and our bodies will no longer digest it properly.

When this happens our bodies will start to store the fat instead of burn it. This is very bad for losing weight; low fat foods actually cause us to gain more weight instead of losing it.

There is a very interesting article called The Truth About Saturated Fat , which is about the low fat myth. High quality foods will help us lose weight, not the other way around. We do not gain fat from eating fat if the fat we eat is 100% digestible.
