Great workout music can help in creating a more fun exercising atmosphere
Great workout music can help us have more fun while we do our daily exercise, pick some of your favorite music to exercise to and the time will fly by.
Music has that magical ability to help take our minds of off things we do not particularly want to do but we must do, like washing dishes, or cloths, or cleaning our rooms, or working on a car, or anything for that matter.
So choosing some great workout music to exercise to is a good idea for helping us to increase our exercising efficiency and obtaining out exercise goal.
Exercise music is mostly fast based music, like techno, rock, metal, house, Latin, Irish, or anything else which has a fast beat to it, something which gives you energy by listening to it. Of course everyone has their own style of music they like which gives them energy and if listening to classical guitar or piano gives you energy then use that.
Mostly though fast passed music with a good beat like Basehunter or Cascada is usually best to listen to while exercising, for yoga I would use something much more slower and relaxing because doing yoga is like that, slow and relaxing.
For yoga I would listen to more flute music, or traditional Japanese or Indian rajas, something like that because they are much more relaxing to hear and instill a sense of relaxation and calmness in us.
For regular exercise though I need something much faster passed because I would be doing things which require a much faster pace like running, jogging, lifting weights, rowing, dancing, stretching, jumping, all of these activities are faster paced which help me lose weight and burn more fat.
In today’s world everyone has MP3 players which are great for exercising with because they do not skip when you jump around, CD players will. You can also take an MP3 player with you on your jog or run or if you dance, or any kind of activity where you are away from your home.
The main idea here is to liven up your exercise day with a little music so when we do our exercises every day we start to enjoy them even more, music can help give us an extra boost of energy and help us perform more efficiently.
We could even make it more fun by picking different types of great workout music which have slower and faster beats, then play a song with a slower beat and do one type of exercise then when the song is finished play the faster beat one and do the same exercise to the faster beat, follow the speed of the beats when performing the exercise.
This makes the exercises a bit more challenging and more fun as well, you can do two sets of each exercise, one to the slower music and one to the faster music, working your muscles at different speeds, this will also help you to build better muscles.
