Eating raw food is a great way to help our bodies become healthier

Eating raw food has many health benefits for our bodies and for losing weight.

Raw food is full of many needed vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fibers, beneficial bacteria’s and more. So eating a good serving of raw foods each and every day is a great way to stay healthy.

As the saying goes, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” And it is true, because our bodies need the extra vitamins, minerals and enzymes that these raw foods give us. I would not recommend gong on a raw food diet and only eating raw foods, in my opinion we need a balanced diet of raw and cooked foods.

Eating raw food on a daily basis is a great way to help our bodies increase in health, raw food helps us build a better immune system, better assimilation of our foods, better digestion and improved metabolism. Raw food can supply us with needed fiber; to help with constipation, and stomach problems, raw foods helps to balance our hormones and so much more.

By eating three to four servings of raw food each day, we can have all these benefits in our daily life. Three or four servings are three or four fruits or vegetables, an apple would be considered one serving and an orange would be another serving.

Raw foods help us lose weight with all the fibers included in them. This fiber helps us move along our food in our intestines, it helps clean out our intestines and is good for our blood as well.

As always remember to buy organic raw foods, such as organic carrots, apples, tomatoes, potatoes, pears, oranges, peaches, plums, bananas, corn, ect… all of these fruits and vegetables are best if eaten organically. Non organic fruits and vegetables have many pesticides on them and these chemicals mess with the health of the food we eat and then mess with our health as well.

It is best to buy them from a health food store or even better, grow them yourself. To get the maximum benefit from eating raw foods, buy them as organic or natural as you can. Also it is best to eat them while they are whole fruits and vegetables, because you get many of the fibers and other things which get striped out when we juice our fruits and vegetables.

Juicing fruits and vegetables is a good idea as well, but we do not get as many of the benefits as if we eat them whole.
